  2. Chandra,
Like your Vita. Great experience. If I may suggest, see if you can get some secondary administrative experience/exposure or see if you can volunteer some time at the secondary level. I have been at the high school and now middle school level. I would like to be an administrator at an elementary campus for at least two years prior to moving up into a central office role. I know it *isn't* necessary but just my preference. I don't like to ask people to do something I have not done myself.

    1. Thank you for your advice. I was discussing my lack of experience at the secondary level with the Superintendent. I will definately have to do some type of volunteering.

  3. Your vita is very clear and easy to read. Your vast experience in coordinating extracurricular activities and events emphasizes your willingness to go above and beyond for your students. My suggestion would be the same as Gabriel's. Experience at all three levels, even if it is volunteering or observation, will be helpful in the superintendent position. When I became HS principal, I had no experience teaching at that level. It took me the entire first year to really understand the dynamics of a high school campus. It has been an incredible learning experience.

  4. Great vita!
The only suggestion I would have is that at least for the purposes of this course, the textbook recommends 2-6 bullet points for each leadership position you have held, focusing on your accomplishments rather than areas of responsibilities. It says that this is one of the things that sets a vita apart from a resume (which I didn't know until this week!). I would also appreciate your feedback on my vita.
